  • Is Python durable?
Don't let its light weight and flexibility fool you. Python is made from PET (polyethylene terephthalate), which is an extremely durable plastic that is strong, lightweight, and shatterproof. PET is the primary material used for packaging foods and pharmaceuticals because it does not react with other substances. During manufacturing, the Python "sleeve" is micro-welded for strength. With proper care, the Python Putt Retriever is designed for many years of use.
  • Will Python fit my putter handle?
Yes! Python is designed to fit any handle size. Its expansion and contraction properties allow it to be easily attached to any club.
  • Will Python damage my club handle?
No. Python firmly attaches with a simple cinch strap and requires no alterations or drilling of your clubs. It can also be easily removed which makes it perfect for use at mini-golf courses. Simply attach it to the club at the beginning of your game. When your're done, remove it and take it with you! Other putt retrieval devices on the market require press fitting or drilling into your club, which damages it and doesn't allow use at mini-golf venues.
  • What are the dimensions of the Python Putt Retriever?
The Python sleeve is 3 inches long and 1.5 inches in diameter. The strap is 6 inches long. After attachment, Python extends just 2 inches above the club handle. Due to its elastic properties, the Python's diameter contracts to just 1" (approx.). As a result, the Python stays further out of the way until it is needed!
  • What material is used to make the Python Putt Retriever?
Python is made from PET (polyethlylene terephthalate), which is an extremely durable plastic that is hygienic, strong, lightweight, and shatterproof. PET is the primary material used for packaging foods, beverages and pharmaceuticals because it does not react with other substances. Best of all, PET is recyclable and highly sustainable. It is one of the most recycled plastics in the United States and worldwide.
  • How do I store my putter with the Python Putt Retriever attached?
When storing your putter in your bag, one option is to insert it headfirst, so the handle and Python are facing up. If you prefer to insert your putter handle first, that's OK too as Python will fold on itself in the bottom of the bag. A golf ball can be inserted into the Python before inserting the putter handle first. This will raise the club off the bottom of the bag and reduce any wear on your Python. This is especially helpful when storing your clubs for a long period. Of course, Python can be detached in seconds prior to storing your clubs.
